The result achieved has placed Pharmafield Group in the top 50 companies rated by EcoVadis . Our interest now is to improve our ranking in the coming years.

 

How does it work?

EcoVadis operates a global platform for assessing corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance. It covers 75,000 companies across 200 sectors in 160 countries.

EcoVadis' sustainability assessment methodology is based on how a company integrates CSR principles into its operations and management system. This methodology follows international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000.

Recycling, sorting and responsible purchasing:

We work closely with various companies such as XEROX, DELL, which allows for the complete recycling of our printing consumables, and VALO, for sorting.

All new computer hardware purchases are primarily made from Samsung® and DELL. Through their Planet First® commitment, they offer a fundamental and essential mindset and approach to our quest for balance between cutting‑edge technology and a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.

All of our IT waste is classified into 2 categories:

  • Re‑marketable equipment, in working order and having a market value.
  • Materials intended for destruction (WEEE).

 

Hybrid and Flexi fuel vehicles:

Through the use of self‑recharging Hybrid, Bioethanol and Flexi fuel vehicles, Pharmafield Group contributes to reducing the CO2 emissions of its teams, and is committed, as of January 1, 2024, to having completely excluded diesel.

 

Dematerialization of data:

A secure intranet is available to all of our employees. It contains classified files, and each department has hierarchical access to them.

The computerization of these documents now represents the annual saving of printing and sending more than 3,700 pages for an average of 300 employees, or 1,110,000 pages per year.

 

We raise awareness among our employees about reducing the impact of paper consumption.

Our papers come from sustainable sources (FSC, PEFC, APUR or European Ecolabels), guaranteeing us recycled papers or papers with high environmental performance.

Our LUCCA solution also allows us to dematerialize pay slips, living expenses of field employees, etc.
